I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
